The portals offers to education and training providers

The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is introduced as a translation device between different national education systems in order to facilitate transparency and comparability of qualifications all over Europe. Read more about the EQF and its mode of action …

One of the major innovations introduced with the EQF is the shift to a learning outcome orientation. But what does this mean for vocational education and training professionals in vocational schools and private training providing organisations? The EQF adaptation support portal provides information and examples on how learning outcomes orientation is implemented in different national and institutional contexts such as in an in-company training at VW Service Deutschland and an open web-based training course on web content management. The portal provides guidance and support to VET providers in adapting their own training practice to EQF requirements in order to offer EQF-compatible vocational education and training.

The enclosed discussion forum provides the opportunity for practitioners in VET related professions to discuss, exchange and receive guidance and support from experts and peers about EQF adaptation in their specific institutional, sectoral and national contexts.
